How often should I change my pillowcase?
Did you know that you should be changing your pillowcase every 2-3 days? Crazy right!
This should be done especially if you're prone to breakouts. Throughout the day, our face and hair collect a mixture of oil, dirt and air pollutants. These particles aren’t necessarily visible to the naked eye, but trust us... they’re there.
Even after cleansing our face and washing our hair, we still sweat from our pores. Sweating creates bacteria that accumulates on our pillowcases along with dead skin cells and dust mites. All of these combined, block the follicles causing breakouts to the skin.
What type of pillowcase is the best?
The type of pillowcase you choose is often overlooked when it comes to care and maintenance, and unfortunately, your hair can suffer the consequences. Cotton fabrics, for instance, can cause split ends, frizz, and hair breakage.
